I purchased a 94 caprice recently with a bad converter. After starting the car and checking the fluid level in the tranny i have come to the conclusion that the converter and pump inside the transmission has gone bad(started car and trans fluid was way high). How much of a chance is it that the entire tranny is toast? The previous owner told me he was just driving on the highway and the car lost all gears and wouldn't move. I have included a small video clip of the transmission in od with the car running with the tq. converter cover off.I Also have some pictures of the fluid after i drained it.
